Each bottle comes with an information brochure on the Israeli occupation's devastating effects on Palestinian agriculture and olive oil production, the heart of the Palestinian economy. Information on the role that achieving an independent and sustainable economy plays in supporting the peace process is provided.
Proceeds from your purchase go to cover payment to farmers and general production costs. One dollar from each bottle will be donated to Trees for Life, a program that replants thousands of olive tree saplings in Palestine. Additional funds are directed to Project Hope, an arts and educational program for young people in Palestine, and the AFSC's Visiting the Olives Project as part of the Middle East Peace Education Program.
